Well...
Overpopulation puts strain on our natural resources. As more people need a certain item, for example oil, then more of that item will be taken from the environment. When it runs low, however, the product cannot meet the demand.

Overpopulation puts strain on our natural resources. Let's use oil as an example. As the population grows, more and more people will need oil. However, our reserves could run out of oil, causing a BIG problem for those that are dependant on it.

I think that ovverpoppulation can hurt our resources in many ways. One way is that when we cut down trees to build houses for our growing poppulation we are leaving the land open for erosion. And by cutting down the trees it can cause rivers to form, shores by a river to dissapear, and take away animals homes. And by doing that and suffering the consequences listed above it hurts us by destroying our land having homeless animals and most importantly destrotin parts of our ecosystem. So everything that we do has a consequence even if it is not a imediate consequence it will come back to haunt us.

Overpopulation would mean more people having jobs, and traveling more and that means more pollution and then it would harm crops and animals. So you would have to pay more for food or the food wouldn't be as good.

If you actually think about it, overpopulation can be a huge problem. ( I mean really think about it.J) Depending on the amount of resources in the area, the resources could easily run out. Droughts, food shortages, and fossil fuel shortages could be very serious. Some of these items are non- renewable, and in turn, humans are one of the main problems. While we are tearing up the land to get at coal, we are ruining tons of ecosystems while we are at it. Shortages, in conclusion, are driving us to go further and further to get at what we need, and if we just spread out and avoid overpopulation we could easily fix this problem.

Overpopulation is a growing problem everywhere.First of all, too many people makes too much waste. This effects all resources because of the great amounts of pollution contributed to the envirionment.Of course like anthing, this process moves in a circle and causes people to have a shortage of valuable resources because the pollution causes the resources to die. It's important that we try not to overpopulate, even though we have already overpopulated, so that these things don't happen.

Overpopulation means that there is too many animals of one type. So, too many of one type of animal can destroy another type of animal. Some animals that are being wiped out might be making some of the resources that we humans use. So, if we lose some of our resources we won't be able to do alot of things that we do now.

Overpopulation of an organism(s) can throw off a food chain. It can happen because an organism may not have any food left if all of the others eat the same thing. Also it may effect the products that we use. Beacause an organism may eat all of a certain thing that we make into supplies.

Overpopulation can affect our resources and us tremendously. Currently fossil fuels are running out and a new energy source is in great demand. Solar energy is one source we should start using. It has many advantages and few disadvantages. One disadvantage is the cost to set up. But with the cost of gasoline so high, we should explore alternatives. Another affect of overpopulation is that we are constantly destroying forests and many animals habitats and homes.

The overpopulation of animals is caused by humans destorying or polluting their habitats. While we destory their homes we are destorying our own resources. The removal of the resources to reach demand causes pollution of the planet. This effects the balance of life.

Overpopulation effects the amount of natural resources we have because people are not conserving. The world we know now won't exist for our future generations. We need to find other renewable sources of energy such as more windpower, solar energy, and more hydroelectric plants.

When there are more people they use more resources. Sometimes, there are so many people that the resources are exhausted . THAT is not good for the environment, and that leaves very little for everyone else to use.

More people = Less resources

Sociosphere is the greatest!!!

Overpopulation causes us to have more people to have to supply. We then in turn use more resources. As we use more resources, we use up the supply of resources available.

Sociosphere rocks!

overpopulation diminishes the supply of our natural resources. Overtime there will not be enough resources left to meet the demand of future generations.

Overpopulation depletes our resources. The demand becomes higher than the supply. Whether overpopulation occurs in animal species or humans, we are directly affected. If bear were to become overpopulated, we would have severe consequences in Virginia because they would require more space to survive; therefore, endangering our lives. By human overpopulation, we have a decreased food supply as well as many other resulting problems. We have increased needs for fuel and living space. It is causing a true problem for ourselves, but nature is suffering also. With oil depletion and clear-cutting trees, we are definitely being a problem.

Overpopulation affects our natural resources by hurting them. As the population grows more and more resources are being used. Although the population is growing it doesnt mean that the natural resources are growing to support it. So there are less and less natural resources as time goes on. This can cause a drop in the economy because the prices for these items would tend to go up in price as the population rises. Many things that people take for granted could easily become something their lucky to have, such as trees. Everyday people are cutting down trees, which produce oxygen for many organisms and also is a habitat for many. As population grow they are cut down for houses which arent always needed. These are ways that overpopulation can hurt our natural resources.

Wow, resources seem to be a hot topic these days. Gas prices are all over the news right now, and non-renewable recorces are going fast. More people keep having more kids who have more kids who use more resorces, thus adding a strain to our recorces.

Overpopulation has a lot to do with the amount of resources we have. When many people use the same resource, it means that we are running out.
For example, we have a scarcity of gas. Overpopulation means more cars for more people. More cars means more gas for them to run on. The use of more gas results in scarcity of it. The scarcity of gas makes sky rocket gas prices. The gas prices affect humans because they now have to budget more money out of their paycheck to pay to drive.
Overpopulation also results in a variety of other problems such as space for housing or public buildings such as schools.
I am from Front Royal and we just built a new high school which I attend, Skyline High. And, soon, we will have 2 middle schools because the population is growing. The elementary school that I went to, A.S. Rhodes, is a small school. The county was going to relocate the school because they wanted it to be in a different building so more students could attend. Then, they were going to turn the vacant building into a storage facility for the growing population.
Also, about 1 year ago, a patch of woods next to my neighbor's house was cleared so they could build a road for more houses. And, some of my neighbor's yard was taken from them.
Overpopulation causes a variety of problems in our world today because
we don't have enough resources or space for them. And the lack of resources needed results in higher prices for them due to their demand.

wait, wasn't there supposed to be another question? I can't find it...maybe its just me. isn't it about technology?
