If you're a returning BREGS participant, what's your favorite BREGS memory? If you're just beginning with BREGS, what are you most anticipating with this experience?

Well... During my 3 years at BREGS, I can say I've basically never had a bad moment. I'm glad I've been able to participate in this wonderful opprotunity. The experience, field trips, and staff have all been awesome. As an intern this year, I look forward to making sure that the newer members of BREGS can enjoy it as much as I did. If I were to choose my favorite part of BREGS, I'd have to choose the canoe ride my first year (in 2003... jeez, I'm getting old). I like to reminisce on that trip in particular, because it just seemed so perfect. The scenery was great, the water was cool and clear, and I believe I remember seeing a bald eagle. It was a lot of fun.
Anyways, I hope to all of you, especially the new people, that your year will be as fun as mine was. I'm looking forward to the rest of BREGS!
My favorite BREGS moment so far is when I went to the animal shelter in Sociosphere. I know, I know, it's lame, but I am a total sucker for animals, and I just had a great time there. I remember meeting a husky/sheperd mix named Nikki, and she was the cutest dog I have ever seen! I wanted to take her home, in fact I asked my parents if I could, but they said no.
Anyway, I have to say that going to that animal shelter was my favorite moment in all my three years at BREGS. I just loved it.
I've been going to BREGS for a few years now, and I have to say that it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. There has never been a dull moment, so it's hard to think of a favorite moment! The canoe trip of 2007 (for those of you who can not remember what year last year was) was pretty awsome. My partener and I kept getting stuck. It was getting to be around lunch time, so we decided that the next time that we got stuck, we would eat our packed lunches. We didn't get stuck again. Finally, we realised that the canoe trip was almost over, so we desided to stop rowing and just eat. It was so much fun actually trying to get stuck, though.
ynOne of my favorite things that i have done so far has been filming our group activities at Happy Creek. (to quote Jerratt "such an optimistic creek"). The clips we made were really funny, whether it was traveling to the "Amazon" or getting ice cream and "exchanging money for frozen...milk". Because even though we might not be able to edit the clips and present them, i know some of us had a lot of fun with that funny orange camera.

David, It's an honor to have students who enjoyed BREGS so much that they want to intern. Thanks for your help!
